Dwayne is a member of the Duval Station Watson Realty family in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born and raised in Green Cove Springs, Florida where he attended Clay High School.
In his free time, Dwayne enjoys jogging and participating in mud and obstacle races. His most cherished and enjoyable moments include family time spent with his son and daughter, as well as with his Siberian Husky, Lola and his Pomeranian, Odis.
Dwayne has dedicated countless volunteer hours to serving the communities in which he has lived. He has volunteered time painting and preserving schools in the Philippines and Thailand, and as a worker at Jacksonville’s annual Huntington’s Disease Awareness Walks, J.P. Hall’s Children’s Charities Annual Christmas party and toy give away in Clay County as well as many other Jacksonville community events.
Dwayne is a U.S. Navy veteran who retired as a Chief Petty Officer after honorably serving for 21 years in the Navy. After retiring from the Navy, he began working at Terry Parker High School in the Arlington area teaching JROTC for 12 years providing instruction and guidance to JROTC cadets to ensure their success in high school, college and later in life. Dwayne has now turned to real estate as a third career.
During his time in the Navy, he primarily worked as Weather Forecaster. In addition to his primary Navy occupation, he has training and experience in other areas including as a Victims’ Advocate, a Drug and Alcohol Program Advisor, and as a Curriculum Developer. His experience in the Navy and as a teacher provide him with the communication and customer service skills essential to effectively support clients making real estate transactions.
While in the Navy Dwayne had to move over a dozen times to locations both overseas and within the United States. During each move he experienced the full range of emotions that came with finding the perfect place to call home including both excitement and anxiety. He knows the importance of having a trusted and knowledgeable professional to assist you in every step of the process. His goal is to be that professional that is there for you. He strives to build long lasting relationships by providing expert real estate advice, knowledge, and support to you as his client. His attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to always putting your needs first make him an asset as you engage in your own personal home buying, selling or relocation experience.
